MY STORY
Exploring the forgotten corners of Nottingham — one frame at a time
I’m a Nottingham-based photographer with a passion for documenting the overlooked, the abandoned, and the forgotten corners of the urban landscape. Notts Forgotten was born from a fascination with urban exploration (urbex), where decaying buildings, disused spaces, and long-forgotten places quietly tell stories of the past – stories that are rapidly disappearing.
My aim with this blog is to capture these locations before they vanish entirely – whether they’re crumbling factories, derelict houses, old hospitals or disused public buildings around Nottingham and beyond. Through my lens, I try to preserve not just the visual decay, but the mood, mystery, and history behind each space. While the focus will largely remain on urbex and abandoned architecture, I’ll occasionally feature landscape photography and other related content that sparks my interest.
Expect a mix of haunting stillness, hidden beauty, and raw honesty in every shot. This is more than just photography – it’s a visual archive of the places time left behind.
Thanks for visiting – I hope you see Nottingham through a new lens.
